Dear Praise Team..

Tremble - MOSAIC


Dear Praise Team,

Thank you for bringing such joy to church. You are all such a blessing to us. I have always connected with music from a young age. I did musicals, played piano, and also collected vinyl records. I never knew music would bring me closer to God. The first day I stepped into church I was so overwhelmed by the power and comfort the music gave me. I felt like God was trying to get me to understand this is where I belong. I belonged at this church where I could connect through the music and praise team to help get through my life. The first day they played Everything and Nothing Less. This has became my new favorite song. I feel like God was telling me to give it all to him. Let him take control. But if it wasn't for the praise team I don't know if I would have ever felt that. I could feel God trying to speak to me through them. You make me forget what is going on in the outside World and make me focus on my relationship with God and how I need to work on it.

I personally want to thank Josh and Kassy. The first Wednesday I went they sung songs that pulled at my heart strings and helped me begin this journey with God. If it wasn't for going that Wednesday I don't think I would be where I am right now with God. These past couple of weeks I have grew closer to God and I want to thank the praise team. You have brought a different kind of music into my life. You have changed my life for the better. I feel like I belong at this church. I am home.

I am not the only one who feels touched by your voices and love for God. People feel you bring in the Spirit. You lift up people. You push people out of there comfort zones and help them give it all to God because like me I didn't know how until I heard that one song. Everyone loves the feeling you bring to church. You feel something you never felt before. You make people believe the words you are saying. And we all thank you.  So I asked some members of the church if they would share what they felt when they hear the praise team and what their  favorite song was. This is their responses:

Kenzie: "The praise team makes me feel a certain peace I haven't felt anywhere else. They make me feel like I  have finally found my place and home after traveling through a dark and cold place. They bring me the Holy Spirit who fills me up just like Thanksgiving dinner would to those who haven't eaten in months and yearn for an ounce of life. To me it's not just about music, it's about the life that the music brings to the lifeless and that is what changes everything. That is game changer in this complicated game of life with unexpected bruises and bumps constantly. God is my game changer."

Hannah: " When I hear the praise team sing and offer praises to Jesus, I can feel the spirit so heavily in the room from each one singing."  Favorite song: Everything and Nothing Less

Maxine: Her favorite song is "Clean".

Hayley: "I think they help usher in the spirit."

Tina: " I love the praise team because I feel like they are anointed by the Holy Spirit and I can feel it speaking to me through their voices. Favorite song: I Am Not Alone

Caelin: "I love the praise team because whenever it's time for praise and worship you can tell their hearts are in the right spirit for God and want others to push through the boundaries around them and give all your worship to Him during that time." Favorite song: Tremble

Jamie: "Praise and worship is just another form of feeling the Lords presence. It's like you can feel peace and hope in the middle of a song. It takes away all the struggles you have for that moment and you can just feel the Lord right there with you. To have a song that brings tears of joy because you can be thankful for how far you have come with him and thoughts of where you would be without him. The praise and worship just allows us to praise him even more. So much power in a song!!!"

Allyson: " Well I mean you can see in the way they sing and get emotional on stage that they love the Lord and that just makes me love everything they sing. There voices are from God and everything they sing is so powerful." Favorite song: Tremble


Praise Team we appreciate you and thank you for making us feel what we can't put into words. We love how you can tell you love God and show us that in your worship. You take all that love and put it into a song. So from the bottom of our hearts Thank You!!
